I believe this can be the global churches finest hour to rise up and demonstrate to the world who God is. God is love.
We can go love our neighbors. If we cannot leave the house, we can reach out online. If we can go to the grocery store/pharmacy, we can leave care packages on porches. We can be kind. We can refuse to hoard because God is our provider. We can check in on people. “How are you? I heard you were laid off, do you need anything?” We can pray for the sick. My dad cannot go in hospitals or nursing homes right now as a Chaplain so he has been going to the parking lot to pray. We can pray over businesses and if we have money get gift cards from them. We can share Jesus online and gather people to worship through technology. If we have enough, we can share. We can cease spreading negativity and look for ways to lift others up!! We can look for ways to be a blessing in word and deed.
God is love. Love looks like something. It looks like someone-Jesus.
I find no where in the Bible where it tells me to think only of myself and go sit down idle waiting on Jesus to return. I find passages that encourage me to GO be light, GO love my neighbor, GO be a blessing, GO share the Gospel, GO be an example. We lead by example. Our sermons may make people feel good, yet the way we demonstrate what we believe leaves a lasting impression on people.
I told my brother last night that loving Jesus, following Jesus transforms the way we live. We begin to care about who and what God cares about. God cares that people are hungry, scared, uncertain, in great need. If I claim to love Him, what moves Him moves me. We are united in love.
Yesterday for We Will Rise worship gathering we did reverse offerings. They received money, not me. I do not take up offerings for me for teaching the Gospel. What good am I taking money from people who may not be able to eat when I have enough? Blessing them was the priority. It warmed my heart they nominated others in the community instead of just themselves. Love is looking out for others.
Arise and shine! Arise and shine!! Arise and shine!!!
We cannot do everything; we can do something!
If you have a grocery need, or know someone in need, the giveaway is this evening. My not for profit is doing a grocery giveaway. Go to http://www.OperationGodisLove.org.
I have seen panic and terror in the eyes of people on the streets. My not for profit has still been out serving the poor, feeding the hungry, clothing those sleeping outdoors, and praying for the sick at the Free Clinic. People need hope. You and I need to remain calm.
Tonight I am sharing an email blog post from my business website written in response to the coronavirus. I hope it blesses you!
How do we navigate through the challenging seasons of life without breaking down or completely losing it?
I believe it requires some focus and intentionality to maintain peace, hope, and even joy in the midst of uncertainty.
Our world is responding to a global crisis. Due to the easy access to information, people are inundated with bad news, negative reports, and are not being provided much hope (an expectation of good). My desire is to provide you with some hope and tools to navigate through the season.
An acronym for hope can be, “Hold On Pain Ends.” I want you to note that just as the seasons in nature change, so do seasons in our lives. There can be seasons that feel like a winter and others that feel like a spring or summer.
In the beginning and middle of hard times, it can be challenging to have a vision of better times or an expectation of good. As stated before it requires some focus and intentionality.
I want to share with you some tips that helped me during a 17-month long challenging season. It was one of the most difficult seasons of my life and just ended last summer. We expect the current global crisis with coronavirus to be much shorter. 🙂
These are some tips that helped me tremendously.
Tip 1: Limit exposure to negativity.
What we feed grows, what we starve dies. Find something positive to read, listen to, and positive people to talk to about your thoughts. In this current situation, you may need to avoid watching the news. We were not created to take in so much negativity and bad reports. If you are a person of faith, focus on meditating on the promises of God.
Tip 2: Start a gratitude journal.
One thing that I believe helped me keep my mind right during my 17-month challenging season was taking time to document things I was thankful for each day. Gratitude helps our brain produce feel-good hormones. Start by thinking of 3-6 things daily. Anything good that occurs, write it down. Focus on the good. It could be 1. I have clean water. 2. I have food. 3. I have a friend. 4. Someone cares about me. Be intentional about gratitude/giving thanks.
“A National Institutes of Health study found that when you express kindness or feel gratitude, your hypothalamus floods your brain with dopamine. This gives you a natural high, motivating you to do good and express gratitude even more.”
Tip 3: Practice kindness.
Just as stated above about gratitude, expressing kindness releases dopamine (feel-good hormones) in the brain. Not only does expressing kindness help the brain get out of stress hormone mode (fight or flight, cortisol, and immune system suppressing hormones), but it also helps get the focus off self and off things that cannot be controlled.
Many of us are working from home, some have been laid off, or the business is suffering. There is minimal to no control over what is occurring externally. We can exercise our will to be kind to others. We do not have control over every event. We do have control over how we respond.
Some ideas: Find someone to reach out to and ask them how they are doing, if they are okay, be kind at the grocery store, share, cease hoarding (operating with a scarcity/poverty mindset), be a blessing, ask neighbors if they need anything.
Tip 4: Write out your thoughts and feelings.
Thoughts and feelings trapped inside the head can lead to less than rational realities and behaviors. People are panicked, therefore they are not using logic or rational thought. It does not make sense for me to purchase 20 gallons of milk that will spoil or 500 rolls of toilet paper. Scared people show you their worst and operate under a “me-first mentality.”
When the thoughts and feelings are written out, it helps significantly. Once you write it out, read it. What is the story you are telling yourself? Process your thoughts and feelings. Before you react, press pause, and get your mind right. Just because others are panicked does not mean you or I need to panic.
Tip 5: GO outside! Fresh air helps.
Even though many events and venues are closed, the sidewalks are not, the backyard is not, and the freeways are not. It was such a blessing today to go outside. I saw people riding bikes, taking walks, and walking their dogs. It is good for the mind and body to get moving. Exercise, talk a walk, go for a drive.
“…taking a walk outside will help the brain produce endorphins, which are neurotransmitters responsible for regulating mood. Both being outside and walking can work together to create positive changes in the overall state of mind.“-Advanced Neurotherapy.
None of us will bypass all adversity. The key is to learn how to navigate well through adversity. We may have an array of thoughts and feelings regarding the situations, that is human and normal. We process those thoughts and emotions. We seek solutions and look for what we can do.
The other key is to learn to manage our responses to adversity, challenges, and hard times. We do not have to allow others to pull us into their storm. We can pull them into our peace.
Key Notes:
This too shall pass.
Hold on pain ends.
Keep your mind healthy by focusing on positive things.
Focus on anything that is going right.
Focus on what can be done.
Look for ways to help and bless others.
Process your thoughts and feelings. Write it out.
Get some fresh air.
Get moving if you can.
Take time to rest.
Continuing to keep you and your families in my prayers. We will get through this together!

We are almost across the finish line! I am finishing up the supplemental study guide for the Overcoming Church Hurt & Abuse book today.
This book was birthed out of conversations with clients from deep inner healing sessions and a friend who said, “We need a book to address abuse in the church.” It was not in my queue of books to write. I was working on a manuscript called Killing Insecurity. It’s still a work in progress. 🙂
In the past few years we have heard and seen the stories of #metoo and #churchtoo. Unfortunately, communities of faith are not immune from abuse, gross misconduct, or ungodly behavior. Every person can still choose sin. Abuse is sin. It is unfortunate when abuse happens in places that were intended to be safe, like family, and a place of healing.
I noticed abuse can slip under the rug because of wrong teachings about forgiveness, wrong teachings about submission and headship, and wrong beliefs about God. For many, it is far more detrimental to be abused by clergy. Then they are told to simply forgive and magically it will be like nothing happened. This is false. There are ways to restore/help both the abused and the the abuser.
Aren’t Christians supposed to be loving and perfect? Ha! I am not perfect, are you? Only God is perfect. I am a work in progress.
So, what are we to do about the abuse, control, manipulation, and gross mistreatment? What do we do when the people who claim to love God are failing in loving people? I highly recommend addressing it head on instead of ignoring abuse or telling people to forgive, build a bridge and get over the trauma or mistreatment they suffered.
We must cease sweeping things under the rug and deal with issues that violate God’s heart. It’s a part of justice. God loves to help the oppressed. The greatest commandment revolves around loving God and loving our neighbor as we love ourselves.
Overcoming Church Hurt & Abuse unpacks:
Why abuse happens.
How people who claim Jesus can be so cruel and unloving.
How to spot the red flags of abuse.
Wrong uses of scripture.
Why forgiveness alone is not removing all your negative feelings or pain.
How to get your soul healed!
How to keep your children and heart safe.
Setting boundaries and dealing with people who do not respect boundaries.
Moving from victim to victor.
Where was God and why didn’t He stop the abuse?
And so much more!
I hope you grab a copy of Overcoming Church Hurt & Abuse when it’s released next month and you share it with any person who has been physically, sexually, emotionally, verbally or in any way grossly mistreated by professing Christians.
I also recommend this book for those who have not been abused. I have never been sexually abused, yet I have learned so much and how to speak compassionately from working with abuse victims. Sometimes Christians say the wrong things. This book provides insight into the thoughts of an abuse victim.
I hope many are set free from deep rooted wounds. The first editor stated she experienced healing from reading the manuscript.
It’s time to heal.
It’s time to SOAR!
It’s time to move out of the land of being victimized and into the land of victors.
Why Soul Healing Matters…(short excerpt from my third book-Overcoming Church Hurt & Abuse coming out this summer & Masterclass this June)
I have encountered so many people who go to church, pray, fast, tithe, forgive, read the bible and their life is still a mess. Some are physically ill and no matter how much prayer they receive, they do not recover.
There is hyper focus on the body and spirit in communities of faith. People sometimes ignore the soul.
The soul is comprised of the mind, will, and emotions. This part of a person does not instantly become like Jesus when a person repents and places their faith in Him. It is the part of the person that requires continual yielding to God and the mind needs renewed.
Along with renewing the mind, people often come to God with histories of brokenness. These things do not always just magically disappear. They can have a host of problems in their emotions, behaviors, habits, defense mechanisms, and after years of giving themselves over to sin or being sinned against suffer greatly in their soul. Some can read the bible all day and still struggle with lust, anger, rage, pride, insecurity, eating disorders, addiction, depression, and some cases they hear voices or can have a false Holy Spirit. Some have buried their trauma instead of offered it to God. They suffer in silence or some simply create relational dysfunction everywhere they go.
Unhealthy people hurt themselves or others. Unhealthy people also attract unhealthy people.
When there are wounds in the soul, people will overreact to things. Something that is small to one person becomes major to them. Those with soul wounds may have a distorted view of events. They may suffer from hyper suspicion, a hyper critical spirit, or struggle with intimacy.
A wounded soul may struggle to love or be loved. You can love a wounded person with all your might, and they cannot receive what you offer or they accuse you of bad motives.
Physical sickness can also flow from the soul, not originate in the body. I have worked with several cancer patients and their sickness was also deeply imbedded in the soul from unhealed trauma, cursing their body (I hate being a woman), overgiving/codependency, or generational.
The more the soul is healed, the more the person begins to see good fruit emerging in their life.
I have spent years working with dissociative people (those wounded so greatly their personalities split), victims of abuse/severe abuse, and those who seem stuck no matter what they try to do. What I have seen are those issues were living inside the soul. There were wounds as far back as in utero. Yes, babies in the womb can be wounded. Yes, they can hear when mom and dad are discussing things. Yes, they can sense when they are unwanted. I had a lady who struggled her entire life with intimacy because she was wounded as a baby. Her parents had no idea their actions impacted the rest of her life.
We can preach to people all day, yet are they getting better? Is anyone getting healed and made whole. Jesus made people whole.
A broken bone requires more than a bandaid. A broken soul requires more than prayer and quoting scriptures. If no one deals with the root, there remains the manifestation of fruit. Soul healing is inviting God into the places that are broken so He can bring total healing and restoration.
I have met with so many people over the years who had significant breakthrough once their soul wounds were healed. Some required extra sessions, help, therapy to deal with bad habits, yet in 95% of the cases they saw remarkable improvement. God loves to heal, not just the body-the soul.
If you are interested in soul healing, be sure to check out empowered-free.com. The upcoming Masterclass registration closes June 7th. Class is June 13-15 2019 in Columbus, Ohio. The class is best suited for those in inner healing and those who want to learn faith based tools. The tools used are rooted in Christian faith.
To join Masterclass, a 3 day (24 hours Intensive training), go to:
I love chatting about world change. What I love even more is participation in world change. It requires more than dialogue. It requires people willing to step out and do something about the issues they see.
When I went to Cambodia last year, I was unprepared to see rows of child prostitutes. I was not ready to see toddlers who had been sexually abused. Yet, there they were. I cannot forget their faces. They are etched into my memories. Along with the children are the people living in piles of trash, walking out gross trauma and carrying wounds from a genocide. The compassion in my heart grew as I saw a culture devastated by the hands of evil.
What can one person do to change the world?
We cannot do everything, we can do something. We can look for our slice of the pie and get busy participating in solutions. I decided one way I could help was by funneling money into education programs. The literacy rate in Cambodia is 37%. Lack of education leads to exploitation. I could also raise awareness here in the USA, find out how human trafficking and exploitation was impacting my own country, and be part of the solution at home.
Confident & Free Conference in Columbus, Ohio is more than a 2 day party! It is an opportunity to be part of the solution. 17% of the ticket sales have already been sown into charity and I hope to sow more! It’s buying someone back from darkness. It’s bringing hope to the hopeless. It’s pulling the vulnerable out of the trash heap.
It’s also my heart to give people who are not asked to speak on platforms often or at all chances to share their gifting. A few of our speakers are new to the conference circuit. I believe both genders need to be empowered!
We are almost a week away from Confident & Free 2019! I am excited to see so many of you from across the USA (16 different states) and Canada. I am expecting big things, mostly for God’s love and power to be on display.
Thank you for buying tickets which will help rescue women & children out of slavery and help the poor(break systems of poverty).
One of the things that excites me about this event, other than seeing you and sowing into worthy causes, is the agenda to empower YOU to do EVEN GREATER things. You won’t be sitting idle watching us do everything. There are times of activation and participation! Yes you get to play. You also will have soaking time to be replenished, restored, and poured into. We are pressing in so you leave with EVEN GREATER passion, energy, encouragement, love, hope, wisdom, and encounters with God!
There are still a few slots available. Don’t wait for the door and risk our being sold out.
Thank you to those signing up for Confident & Free 2019. So far 17% of the ticket sales has been sown into the following combined efforts (International Justice Mission (ending human trafficking), Extreme Love Ministries (education programs for at risk children for human trafficking), the Happy Givers NPO (children’s homes, clean water projects, rebuild of Puerto Rico), and additionally 18 people have been sponsored for this event. I am hoping we sell out to reach the target goal for education programs and assisting the poor with real solutions.
When you look at the ticket price for the event, I hope you see a child getting clean water, a home being rebuilt in Puerto Rico, a woman or child rescued from slavery. This event is not lining my pocket, it is helping (hopefully) to save lives. The charities received their payment of already sold tickets already. I will be the very last person paid, if I see anything at all.
Thank you for those coming!! We have guests coming from 15 different states and Canada.
I bless you and thank you!!
Charity info: extremelove.com, ijm.org, and thehappygivers.com.
If you have not signed up yet, seats are filling. Once we sell out, there is no overflow. Tickets are also a bit more at the door.
I love that God is not a cloner, He is the Creator. Those of our time are not called to be cookie cutters of generals of old. We can learn from the past, yet press onward as Paul stated towards the prize which is Christ. Jesus is not stuck, stagnant, stale, trying to reproduce another Billy Graham, Kathryn Kulhman, Aimee Simple McPherson, or John G Lake. God is looking for a sold out generation reaching for Him and in turn, they will be cloaked with their own unique mantle. Our key is not imitation, it is intimacy!
I have this crazy belief that one person can positively impact the world. Some days I think I am crazy for pressing into areas and saying, “This is not functional anymore. What worked 20 years ago does not work today. God is doing a new thing! God is not stagnant, stale, or stuck. We must keep moving with the momentum of God,” or “This is actually not God at all, it’s man made interpretations of God that limit instead of empower and accelerate. Jesus stated we would do even greater, not live in perpetual defeat or oppression.”
Sometimes I am fatigued by blowing a trumpet…Tired of opposition. Tired of fighting religion because God invites us into relationship. There is power in relationship and intimacy with God. It is not by our power, might, or rituals-it is by God’s Spirit.
I don’t wish to die in the status quo, live in cruise ship Christianity, be lukewarm or complacent, watch the world sink into despair when Jesus provides solutions, abide by “this is how we have always done things”. There’s MORE! Heaven has more to offer and it’s on the other side of our comfort zones!
Revolutions are not birthed out of complacency! They are birthed out of passion, and a fire within that cannot be quenched. It burns bright and hotter for Jesus! He was revolutionary. Revival requires active participation, not just prayer and spectatorship. May the fire and passion of Jesus engulf us and we stand as walking pillars of His love, His light, His wisdom, and His innovation in the world. May the torch we carry light other hearts ablaze for His Kingdom come, His will be done. On earth as in heaven!!
Behold God is doing a new thing!
God show us the new thing!
God keep us linked to your heart.
God take us deeper than we have ever been before.
Pour holy gasoline on the fire in our hearts!
Fan that FLAME!!
Usher in the NEW!!
New Wine!
New Wineskins!
New winds of awakening and revival…let the winds blow, let the winds blow. Fill us up and pour us out. 🔥🍷🍇❤️💯
I want to see entire regions transformed by the great love and power of God. I am talking about helping people, serving people, and making our cities better. We can pray all day, I love prayer, yet we need some people willing to step up and step out to actually be the hands and feet of Jesus. There are solutions available in God and through God that have yet to be seen.
I hope to be part of the solution. I believe you are part of the solution. God created each person with a divine purpose! You, my friend, have a divine purpose. We, you and I, plus God equal transformation. We are needed to participate in some way.
I am praying for you! I pray the fire in your heart increases. We can leave the world better than how we found it.
I hope you join us in Columbus, Ohio in May 2019 for 2 days of activation and empowerment. Part of the proceeds will go towards the poor and efforts to end human trafficking.
I saw some things in Cambodia (trip with Extreme Love-human trafficking initiative), that I cannot forget and still need to process. I can still see the rows of child prostitutes waiting to be exploited. I cannot forget the faces of beautiful children who have had their innocence stolen. It is one thing to hear a statistic and quite another to see a face, hold a child, rock a person traumatized, and wipe the tears of a child prostitute.
I hope this event raises money for a great cause and awakens those attending to how important their role is in world transformation. We are pressing in for awakening, activation of world changers, and deployment of world changers!
We are beyond excited to host the first Confident & Free event in Columbus, Ohio May 17-18, 2019.
We have people coming from all over the United States and Canada! Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to helping the poor and getting a women/child out of human trafficking (modern day slavery).
This event is geared towards activating people to be part of the solution. Anyone can find problems. All you need to do is turn on the TV and you can make lists of problems. Our world does not need more problem finders. Our world needs more solutions.
Day 1 is focused on freedom; freedom from fear, freedom from limiting mindsets, freedom from lukewarm living/passivity, freedom from soul wounds, and freedom to dream BIG! Day 2 is focused on confidence!
We have three keynote speakers, 3 activation speakers (they will have things for you to practice and use the skills taught), and 2 panels. During the two panels, you will have the opportunity to ask questions. My desire is people leave activated to live bold, confident, and impactful lives.
We need bold, confident, and free people to help usher in godly justice in our world.
Insecurity is not humility; let’s pursue confidence. Being critical, finding problems without proposing solutions is not helpful.
I believe over the course of these two days you and I are going to grow together. You will also be able to hear about ways to be part of the solution with human trafficking. I returned from serving in Cambodia in October. There are children as young as 2 and 3 years old being sold for sex. This is not okay.
Human trafficking is a billion dollar industry I want to see ended in my lifetime. We cannot do everything. We can do something.
We want to see you in May! We want you to be a part of the solution with us. We want to see the world transformed by love. We want to invest in your growth, your confidence, and your divine destiny!!
Come join and be refueled, refreshed, invigorated, educated, revived, restored, equipped, empowered. You will also have the opportunity to network with others from all over the USA and Canada making a difference in the world.
Also over the course of the next few months I will be interviewing speakers. This Saturday, Hilary Lynne will be my guest. We will be discussing practical ways to see world change and evangelism. She and I will be sharing out experiences on the street, mission field, the marketplace, and God’s heart for those who do not know Him.

I posted this on my personal Facebook Saturday because I kept seeing quite condemning posts regarding those who have had abortions. I hoped by posting it, there would be a stirring in people’s hearts to think about the person on the other end and consider that every statistic is an actual person; a person God loves. It’s so easy to beat people up and assume when we do not know their full story. I hope this blesses someone. See the post below.
Helping Women Who’ve Had Numerous Abortions (Love, Compassion, & Providing Solutions)-Testimonies.
So part of what I do is deep inner healing and helping those who suffer from severe cases of PTSD, DID, Bipolar, Schizophrenia using faith based methods. Over the years I have encountered numerous women who aborted children. For those who ask or say , “How could someone do this? This is murder!! This person is sick,” I wanted to share some testimonies and maybe provide some insight into the mind of the woman who is more than a number.
First God loves that person deeply and His forgiveness, love, mercy, and grace is available to everyone-not just the people Christian culture deem worthy.
I love that Jesus was moved with compassion and healed the sick, not moved with rage so He picked up stones to beat them to death. Jesus sees the heart and reasons why people do the things they do.
In every single session with a woman who had an abortion or many abortions there was DEEP rooted pain, shame, hurt, and for some deep roots of self hatred. One woman told me when I asked her why so many, “I am not fit to be a mom. I thought they would be better off without me, without the struggle, without the pain of having me as their mom. I wanted men to love me so I gave myself away. They abandoned me when they found out I was pregnant. I could not bring a child into my dysfunction.” You may be screaming “Birth Control!” Yet the only 100% full proof birth control is abstinence. We live in a culture that promotes the easy hook up without every truly talking about the consequences. If a person believes the only way to be loved (which is really lust), is to give themselves away physically, then you see patterns of forgoing abstinence.
Some of the women were married and aborted their children because they could not afford another child or were told their child would be severely impaired. We can scream adoption, trust God, yet until we sit across from someone in agony-well I think prayer, compassion, love, and helping people find solutions is a better option than judgement.
I am pro all lives. I also have seen the flip side of children in foster care, abandoned into abusive situations, or born to parents who abused or trafficked them. What can we do to protect children once they are born?
A common thread was woven through those deep inner healing sessions; fear (what will people think), lack of support, shame (we got pregnant outside of God’s boundaries), a health concern, self hatred and lack of God esteem, financial concerns, and feeling there would not be anyone to help raise the child.
I have watched women break down in agony over their choices. Some were told by partners they would be abandoned if they kept the baby and they had no financial means to do it alone. Some were in abusive relationships and did not desire to see their child abused. Some felt they would find shaming instead of love/support/help in the church or communities of faith.
Sometimes it takes a long time to get women to forgive themselves, receive forgiveness from God, and invite God into those deep wounds. Restoration is possible and God’s heart.
I believe God wants to see people healed. I believe God wants us to know how deeply we are loved so we can love our neighbor, our children, ourselves. I believe God wants our communities of faith to be places where people can turn with their fears, issues, and find love instead of more pain. Do we tell the truth, yes. Do we point to Jesus, yes. Do we love people and cultivate safe places, YES!
What if instead of fear of backlash for being real and sharing weaknesses with people of faith, people wanted to run into the communities of faith in crisis.
Some of these women were severely abused as children or adults, dissociative, struggled with mental/emotional problems, or were currently with an abusive partner. One woman aborted her child with her husband because he forced himself on her and was highly abusive, unfaithful, and she could not bring another child into that situation. She has currently escaped him, yet there was great pain there. Yes forcing yourself on your marital partner is still rape and wrong. Paul stating the body of the spouse should not be withheld was addressing new converts in the community who wanted to practice abstinence after converting to Christianity and they were married. He stated physical intimacy belongs within covenant. He was not giving a license to force your spouse into physical intimacy.
My hope with this post is to provide some insight from someone who has the honor of partnering with Jesus to see the rebuild or aftermath of the hurt soul. I have not encountered one woman in a session proud of her choice. Not one. I have seen agony, fear, and someone who deeply needed God’s profound love.
All after receiving soul healing, which went far deeper than surface issues, they chose to never have another abortion.
I think the goal of God is connection, reconciliation, and for the world to know Him. I also believe God longs to heal, forgive, redeem, and restore.
Mental health is such a buzz word in the news. When mass shootings happen, people are quick to point to mental illness. I believe it moves beyond just mental impairment to emotional issues which link to spiritual issues. The spirit, body, and soul (mind, will, emotions) are connected.
Part of what I do is help those who suffer from deep emotional/mental wounds or impairment. This morning I shared with my online community a testimony from a session this month. I hope to raise awareness and help others.
God & the Dissociative Person (Multiple Personalities)-Testimony of 11 Alters Coming Together To Make Someone Whole.
I don’t do SOZO or regular deliverance. I state this because people ask, not to downplay anyone else’s methods. Most of the people who see me have been severely abused to the point of fracture/forming a split that holds their painful memory/trauma. These parts of them are quite real. You can scream, command, throw scripture at them, say be whole and they remain right where they are. Why? They have a purpose. They were created out of gross trauma or abuse to hold the painful memories for the person so they can function. The issue arises when these dissociative parts are not healed and their negative emotions are not healed.
Over the past few years I have seen numerous people. The best candidates are normally the ones who do not know me. The best results come when a person can be transparent without fear. Of the 2% who claimed feeling worse afterwards (1 out of many stated this) or little breakthrough-they knew me. So I learned to only do sessions with people who know me if God led, otherwise source them out to a mentor. I believe 95%-98% is better than 0% or the ~25% breakthrough with cognitive therapy.
I was given permission to share this testimony.
I had someone who had struggled their entire life feeling disconnected, hearing voices, struggled with connection with God and others. The person was wounded at a very young age and then repeatedly assaulted as they grew up. They grew to believe they were the reason predators targeted them. They also were told their beautiful exterior was the reason for the assaults (this is a lie). The first soul wounding at age 4 opened the door for future assault. Evil intruders then worked to attract more assault in the future. If you have no grid for the spiritual world, understand there are angels and demons. Demons are evil and work to bring death, destruction, pain, abuse, and make bad things worse. The 4 year was exposed to things through a neighbor kid. This brought fear and terror connected to molestation. Fear was activated, never dealt with, and worked to bring more of what the 4 year old feared. One split in personality became 11 splits in personality.
Each split/alter had it’s own pain, trauma, and negative emotions attached. During the sessions God was invited into all the memories. I do not do guided imagery. I ask God to pull forward memories. One by one we encountered different hurting parts of the person. Once the parts were healed of their pain, deliverance occured. Anything attached to those parts was commanded to leave. We then walked through the process of integration.
The person reported after the 10 year old was healed they felt they could connect with God in ways they had not been able to before. The voice they kept hearing left. They felt free and the feeling of disconnection was gone. Once certain memories were healed, God revealed the web of other memories and lies that broke off their life. The person had gone through regular deliverance, self deliverance, and SOZO. They still had 11 personalities at work (alters) and two head spirits (#1 Fear, #Rejection). There were still demons operating in the person’s life. Why? If they are feasting on a soul wound/alter, they are not going anywhere until you get the soul healed.
The person reported they felt integration and it brought clarity, freedom from voices, hope, joy, and they started experiencing breakthrough in the natural. Things that were delayed opened. The home was more peaceful. They experienced peace and freedom from believing everything was their fault. They recovered their voice. A voice that was locked up during abuse. They reported freedom after seeing things from God’s perspective. God hates abuse and His revelation of love is powerful.
I have heard people say, “Jesus did not do soul healing,” I disagree. The very presence of Jesus is healing for people. To touch a leper-outcast is healing from rejection. To stop for a Samaritan woman and treat her with kindness is healing. Women were not highly respected and Jesus demonstrated honor. The bible says Jesus did so many great things the volumes could not contain them. Instead of focusing on what Jesus did or did not do, I recommend asking the Holy Spirit to partner with us to help people. Jesus did not fly in airplanes or ride in cars, yet we do. It would be silly to say, “Well, Jesus never rode in a car or on a plane, so I won’t either!” God invites us into relationship. The Bible reveals God, and gives us a blueprint. We are then to abide in relationship with God. We don’t violate the word, we also don’t limit God to a time of riding donkeys and wearing sandals.
This person stated they stepped into a new level of freedom. They stated they often felt they were lost inside themselves and could not put the pieces together. One by one each part was healed, delivered, then integrated. They stated they never felt whole before. Today they do.
God loves to heal. God is good. It’s His heart to make us whole.
