Changing the World Starts With Me & You!

I love chatting about world change. What I love even more is participation in world change. It requires more than dialogue. It requires people willing to step out and do something about the issues they see.

When I went to Cambodia last year, I was unprepared to see rows of child prostitutes. I was not ready to see toddlers who had been sexually abused. Yet, there they were. I cannot forget their faces. They are etched into my memories. Along with the children are the people living in piles of trash, walking out gross trauma and carrying wounds from a genocide. The compassion in my heart grew as I saw a culture devastated by the hands of evil.

What can one person do to change the world?

We cannot do everything, we can do something. We can look for our slice of the pie and get busy participating in solutions. I decided one way I could help was by funneling money into education programs. The literacy rate in Cambodia is 37%. Lack of education leads to exploitation. I could also raise awareness here in the USA, find out how human trafficking and exploitation was impacting my own country, and be part of the solution at home.

Confident & Free Conference in Columbus, Ohio is more than a 2 day party! It is an opportunity to be part of the solution. 17% of the ticket sales have already been sown into charity and I hope to sow more! It’s buying someone back from darkness. It’s bringing hope to the hopeless. It’s pulling the vulnerable out of the trash heap.

It’s also my heart to give people who are not asked to speak on platforms often or at all chances to share their gifting. A few of our speakers are new to the conference circuit. I believe both genders need to be empowered!

We are almost a week away from Confident & Free 2019! I am excited to see so many of you from across the USA (16 different states) and Canada. I am expecting big things, mostly for God’s love and power to be on display.

Thank you for buying tickets which will help rescue women & children out of slavery and help the poor(break systems of poverty).

One of the things that excites me about this event, other than seeing you and sowing into worthy causes, is the agenda to empower YOU to do EVEN GREATER things. You won’t be sitting idle watching us do everything. There are times of activation and participation! Yes you get to play. You also will have soaking time to be replenished, restored, and poured into. We are pressing in so you leave with EVEN GREATER passion, energy, encouragement, love, hope, wisdom, and encounters with God!

There are still a few slots available. Don’t wait for the door and risk our being sold out.

I want to see YOU there! You and I can make a difference and BE the change we wish to see in the world.

If Jesus Took On Flesh Today

If Jesus took on flesh today…

Jesus had no outward beauty to draw people to Him, I wonder if He walked into our services today if we would greet Him.

A middle eastern Jew, with brown skin, a carpenter’s son-would we include Him?

Humble, not ego driven, the one who would choose to wash feet instead of push His way to a platform-would we even notice Him?

Loving, honoring, and respectful of all people-would we try to persuade Him to love who we love and dislike who we dislike?

Interested in the least of these, the poor, the outcast, sinners/prostitutes/tax collectors, would we join their table or insist He leave them to join ours?

Non political, focused on representing heaven on earth/the Father’s will, would we try to convince Him to join our political party and campaign for our rights?

Unmarried and without a girlfriend, would He be banned from ministering in our churches or restricted to the least amount of responsibility in leadership? Would He be consistently pressured into finding a mate or allowed to be who the Father created Him to be?

Insistent on loving His enemies, would we join Him in His quest to build bridges instead of cliques?

Moved by the tears of the broken, would we lay down our pride and selfishness to sit with the broken?

Deeply moved with compassion to heal the sick, would we put aside the miracles are a side show to simply love the person right in front of us?

Taking the Gospel to those in need, would we join Jesus or simply watch from the sidelines or encourage Him to do everything?

Moved by the heart of the Father He would rally others to do the same. Would we join Jesus or tell Him, “I am not called to do that? Give me the assignment where I am most comfortable?”

Would we join Jesus or deny Jesus?

Would we follow Jesus or just be a fan of Jesus?

Would we cast aside our selfish ambition to truly be a disciple who begins to look like Jesus?

Would we change the world with Jesus or simply pray Jesus do something?

It is one thing to profess love for Jesus, it is quite another lay down our lives for Jesus.

Would Jesus be Lord, or an ala cart add on to enhance our lives yet cost us nothing?

Would we be willing to follow the loving King or simply remain in the stadiums cheering with our “I love Jesus” merch?

Are we spectators or lovers?

Sold out or only in it for fire insurance?

In love or in like with Jesus?

Love will cause us to lay our pride and selfishness aside to look out for our neighbor, the least, last, lost, broken.

Love will call us out of our comfort zones and onto the frontlines with Jesus.

Love will mend us over and over when the attacks of darkness seem relentless.

Love will propel us into a glorious heaven centered destiny where His name, the name above all names is glorified.

Love dissolves our prejudice and man made boundary lines.

Love destroys hatred, bigotry, and sexism and loudly proclaims, “In Christ all are one.” One Body, one church, one Lord!

Love pushes past political lines to say, “You too are made in the image of God.”

Love pushes past “Me first” and lives for “God first! God be glorified!!”

Love breaks the shackles of “Us vs Them,” and builds a table prepared with a feast to say, “The King loves you. I will treat you with dignity. Come to Jesus.”

Love seeks to reconcile the world to itself.

Love is not a concept, not a noun but a verb.

Love has a name. It’s Jesus!

May we seek Jesus, know Jesus, abide in Jesus, focus on Jesus, exalt Jesus, and align with the heart of Jesus.

New Books Coming & 40% Sale Ends Today!

I hope to have Overcoming Church Hurt & Abuse book released this summer and if all goes well Killing Insecurity book this year. When people are cruel, mean, hateful, racist, bigoted, abusive, sexist, hurt others, there is a part of the equation that is often missed.

Insecurity is a monster and unfortunately an epidemic that started with Adam/Eve. When we do not know or abide our identity in relation to God, do not know our worth, or love ourselves-we cannot love our neighbor.

It is impossible to give away what we do not possess. Insecurity looks for ways to diminish bad feelings about self. Sometimes it manifests in “At least I am better than you,” or in self depreciating ways “I am the worst.” People who abuse others, try to control/bully others, talk down to others are insecure. There is a God love deficit. If they don’t love themselves (though they may come off cocky) they cannot love you. How people treat you is a reflection of how they feel about themselves.

I hope these two books help people step out of pain and into God’s promise, out of being a victim of identity crisis/shame/ego/hurting others or self and into walking in the fullness of who God created them to be. I hope scars inflicted by insecure, immature, or unwell people are healed by Jesus. I hope there is a big dent placed in the epidemic of insecurity. There is a cure and He has a name, Jesus.

Thank You! (Confident & Free 2019)

Thank you to those signing up for Confident & Free 2019. So far 17% of the ticket sales has been sown into the following combined efforts (International Justice Mission (ending human trafficking), Extreme Love Ministries (education programs for at risk children for human trafficking), the Happy Givers NPO (children’s homes, clean water projects, rebuild of Puerto Rico), and additionally 18 people have been sponsored for this event. I am hoping we sell out to reach the target goal for education programs and assisting the poor with real solutions.

When you look at the ticket price for the event, I hope you see a child getting clean water, a home being rebuilt in Puerto Rico, a woman or child rescued from slavery. This event is not lining my pocket, it is helping (hopefully) to save lives. The charities received their payment of already sold tickets already. I will be the very last person paid, if I see anything at all.

Thank you for those coming!! We have guests coming from 15 different states and Canada.

I bless you and thank you!!

Be Kind Not Rude

Happy Jesus is Not Rude; Love is Not Rude Tuesday!

Love is not rude, is not selfish,-1 Corinthians 13:5a.

Even the rebukes of Jesus are from love. Jesus is not rude. Jesus is not a jerk. Jesus thinks about how His behavior and words impact others. If the nature of God is love, compassion, and kindness-why are we seeing such rudeness on display from professing Christians? I see it on social media. I have seen it from pulpits. Encountered it within Christian groups.

Even last night a guy popped on my instagram to accuse me of spreading false prophecy over a post about raising money and awareness to end human trafficking. The post literally said if we pursue justice, stand up against evil, we could see our world change for the better. I blocked him-no harm no foul. It’s not what people call you, it is what you answer to that matters. And to use a slang term, “Aint nobody got time for that!” Prayed for him and moved along.

I was not offended, I am deeply saddened by the way some “Christians” misrepresent Jesus online and in real life. On social media we are not the only people who see our posts and comments. The world watches how we treat each other. If we are nasty to each other what on earth would make them want to be in our family? We talk about God love, yet do we live it? Jesus stated the world would know His disciples by their love, not their titles, church attendance, or political party. Is love present in our communication? Are we rude, sarcastic, and dishonoring? The world watches how we behave.

The Bible says, “Do unto others what you would want done to you.” This principle manifests in our lives in a good way when we abide in Jesus. It manifests in a bad way when we abide in the flesh. The flesh can be quite proud, rude, and petty. Those who live by the Spirit of God are the sons and daughters of God. We are to be Spirit led, not fleshy.

Carnality, like insecurity, is our frenemy (pretends to be of benefit, yet is quite toxic). Carnality is hyper self focused. It does not regard others as better than itself. It just tells it like it is, or does what is best for self. If there are casualties-“oh well, can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.” Carnality cares more about protecting ego than loving people.

Paul said the following about carnality: ..you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men?-1 Corinthians 3:3.

Rudeness is a weak person’s imitation of strength or power. People who feel weak or powerless can overcompensate by being rude or nasty to others. It’s far easier to look at the speck in the neighbors eye than focus on the log in our own eye. Especially if there is God love deficit.

The truth is, we are not weak or powerless if we are finding our identity in Christ. It takes His strength to be gentle instead of hostile. In a world of clap backs and insults, His Spirit shows us how to effectively communicate so we address issues without destroying people. Sometimes rebukes are necessary, yet they must be rooted in love. Our power source is Jesus, not our flesh. We don’t have to prove how powerful we are. We abide in love and use His power to lift the broken, not become the person breaking people.

The next time someone is rude to you, understand the issue is most likely something internal they are struggling with; fear, insecurity, feeling powerless, feeling inferior, pride, carnality. If we find ourselves being rude or unkind, may we repent and ask God to fill our love tank.

May you and I be Spirit led not fleshy.

Loving not rude.

Considerate not hostile.

Powerful in Jesus not petty!

Love,

Erin

Helping to End Modern Day Slavery!

We are beyond excited to host the first Confident & Free event in Columbus, Ohio May 17-18, 2019.

We have people coming from all over the United States and Canada! Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to helping the poor and getting a women/child out of human trafficking (modern day slavery).

This event is geared towards activating people to be part of the solution. Anyone can find problems. All you need to do is turn on the TV and you can make lists of problems. Our world does not need more problem finders. Our world needs more solutions.

Day 1 is focused on freedom; freedom from fear, freedom from limiting mindsets, freedom from lukewarm living/passivity, freedom from soul wounds, and freedom to dream BIG! Day 2 is focused on confidence!

We have three keynote speakers, 3 activation speakers (they will have things for you to practice and use the skills taught), and 2 panels. During the two panels, you will have the opportunity to ask questions. My desire is people leave activated to live bold, confident, and impactful lives.

We need bold, confident, and free people to help usher in godly justice in our world.

Insecurity is not humility; let’s pursue confidence. Being critical, finding problems without proposing solutions is not helpful.

I believe over the course of these two days you and I are going to grow together. You will also be able to hear about ways to be part of the solution with human trafficking. I returned from serving in Cambodia in October. There are children as young as 2 and 3 years old being sold for sex. This is not okay.

Human trafficking is a billion dollar industry I want to see ended in my lifetime. We cannot do everything. We can do something.

We want to see you in May! We want you to be a part of the solution with us. We want to see the world transformed by love. We want to invest in your growth, your confidence, and your divine destiny!!

Come join and be refueled, refreshed, invigorated, educated, revived, restored, equipped, empowered. You will also have the opportunity to network with others from all over the USA and Canada making a difference in the world.

What are you waiting for?

Pain, the Teacher

Pain the Teacher (Simple Morning Reflection):

Pain can be an incredible teacher. It is in our human nature to avoid pain. Yet some great lessons can come out of pain. We can change; realize what matters most, and what doesn’t. Pain can shift focus from things that are not important to what is important.

You learn some relationships are dead weight anchors you are dragging along trying to keep alive. You pour in, trying to keep alive things the other person could care less about living or investing in to thrive. You learn to let go of things and people that are killing your soul.

You begin to analyze what is necessary and what is obligation or unecessary. You reevaluate your time or energy because it’s limited.

There is something about pain that teaches you to value the good moments even more, you savor them. You start avoiding the things that are like elephants sitting on your chest and run after the quiet moments with Jesus.

The things that used to bug you seem so small. The people you used to invest in and do all the work with zero mutuality, you simply stop doing it. You look for ways to make the most of each day.

This is what happens when I go through seasons of pain. Priorities shift. Agendas shift. Everything shifts.

There are great lessons that can be learned in seasons of pain. You find out who truly loves you and who is a person of opportunity. Some are present in their need, not present in yours.

You learn the safe places and genuine friends. You learn the comfort of God has no end. You learn, my goodness, you learn.

Earth’s focus becomes dimmer while eternity becomes brighter. You begin to see something greater woven through the tapestry of grief, of loss, of pain. Woven in this tapestry is the very face of Jesus-the one who knows the depths of human suffering.

Compassion grows leaps and bounds as you find yourself throwing out anchors of hope to others in the midst of your own storm. Pain can teach you so much about compassion because you simply do not wish for anyone to suffer alone. It moves you beyond praying to participating in the solution for someone else.

Pain can be an incredible teacher, revealing the deepest parts of the soul-what we believe and who we are is pressed to the surface. What we believe about God is placed on display. Trials reveal so much.

God brings in His love to reveal to us that He is present in every storm. No tear goes unnoticed. No cry goes unheard. No child goes unloved. And even if God seems silent and the pain is louder than His voice, He is still present and He is still love.

“God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit.”

“The arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ears deaf to hear.”

Pain writes a new song in your heart, a song only God can hear. Friendship with God can deepen in seasons of loss, mourning, or pain. If we turn to God, instead of away from God, we can learn so many things. Gratitude can elevate. If we cannot give thanks for what we have, we can celebrate what we have been spared. We can share with others even in our lack, for there is always someone with less. There is always someone with more pain, more sorrow, more problems. We can be a blessing in our own storm.

Pain the teacher…you have taught me so much.

I bless you and pray your week overflows with the love, peace and joy of Jesus. He is pure joy. I know no greater love, no greater comfort.

Love,

Erin Lamb

Behold A New Thing (Refocus on Jesus-the Centrality of the Gospel)-Prophetic Encouragement.

I don’t share prophetic impressions on this page often, yet felt promoted to today. It’s long, yet hope it encourages/inspires someone to seek Jesus, not “That’s how we have always done things or my pastor told me this.”

Behold I am doing a new thing (prophetic encouragement)

Certainly weigh this and test it. These were impressions on my heart and in my spirit from Jesus, Holy Spirit, and the Father.

From the Father:

“I am shifting from the old into the new. I look upon the earth and see billions of people disconnected from My heart and disconnected from the church. While My church may be pointing her finger at the world, ‘Look how sinful you are,’ My heart has been grieved by the lack of My love and compassion for the lost. Yes, they are blind and deaf to truth because they are dead in tresspasses and sin. The dead cannot see. The dead cannot hear. There is a powerful language that even the dead can see and hear, that is My love. I invite My church to not only speak truth, but to love and to serve. Love is your superpower.

My Spirit is hovering over the earth looking for laborers, partners-someone willing to take up the mantle of love and go for My mission of love. My Spirit is looking for those willing to go into the dark places. Gone are the days of just waiting for the world to come inside.

You must go. You must go where the people are, where the broken and hurting are, and you must love. You are not going to the happy, shiny, together people. You are going to the sick, hurting, dying, addicted, broken, immoral, demonized, and abused. They need My love and My power. It is not by your strength, your wisdom, your intellect, nor your religious rituals. It is by My Spirit.

I am looking for those willing to abide in My Spirit and go where I lead. No more business as usual-this is the way we have always done church, the way we have always done conferences, the way we have always done worship, the way we have always taught people…get into the secret place and seek Me for the new.

I am doing something NEW! I am doing something new to bring millions into My family. I want to teach you an upgraded way to relate to the world. It involves no compromise; it is pure/holy as I am pure/holy. It will stretch you outside your comfort zone. It will break people out of sitting and waiting, sitting and praying for Me to do what I have empowered My church to do.

I am cleaning My house. Yes, your spirits are made completely new in My Son. The soul of man is continually sanctified by My Spirit. I am clearing out those abusing My sheep, allowing exposure of those who do not love My sheep, closing doors to those only interested in their agenda and titles, I am removing favor from those using the gifts for selfish gain. I am doing these things out of great love because I need a safe place for the harvest. Not only do I need laborers, I need safe havens and families for My children. My babies need spiritual families, not to be led to pray a prayer and then left alone without any guidance, without genuine love, without true shepherding. I am building family systems that are safe.

Seek Me for the new. Seek Me for My agenda for your services and conferences. It’s about establishing My Kingdom on earth, not mankind building their own shrines on earth nor entertaining people without helping them to truly know Me. I watch as millions are entertained and they go home with the very same demons they came with and they remain in great bondage. My Son set the captives free.

Seek Me for your ministry. Seek Me for your family. Seek Me for your business. I do not encourage to control. I encourage because I am strategically connecting people in this season to be a great net for the masses. I am pursuing a mature Bride. No more their church vs. your church, their ministry vs. your ministry…competition is not a fruit of My heart. The evil one loves division, jealousy, and single/selfish focus.

If My people who are called by My name would humble themselves and help each other fulfill the great commission, revival would have already come.

The world is looking at how My professing children love and support each other. If they do not see what My Son proclaimed, their desire to come inside is even more diminished.

I will be glorified in the earth. If those I have chosen refuse to follow the leading of My Spirit, I will and can go and appoint one from outside to lead My movements. My Son will get His full reward.”

From Jesus:

“Oh how I love My Bride and long to partner with her to see the fullness of My Kingdom on earth. The encouragement is to continually abide in Me, to crawl into My arms, and listen to My voice. I lead by great love. The love I have for you is the same intense, passionate love I have for your neighbor, the lost, and even those who present themselves as your enemies. So many do not know Me in your weekend services and in the world. Sharing and demonstrating who I am is needed everywhere.

My heart weeps over those who believe they know Me yet, they harm, abuse, or deceive My sheep. Like the Pharisees, they have their rules, rituals, and religion, yet they miss My heart. They have a form of righteousness, yet, it is void of My love, void of My compassion, and void of godly mercy. Yes, I am truth. Yes, I am power. I am also love. I know the proper words to speak to turn a heart, prick a heart for the Father. Ministering outside of My heart and Spirit can lead to harm instead of blessing.

I have watched millions of My children wounded by those claiming Me, yet their hearts are far from Me. I reserve My final judgement until the appointed time. I did not come to condemn, pass final judgement, but to lead people to repentance. I am standing in a position of invitation for repentance for those who do not love yet continue to attempt to minister in My name. Come away with Me and soak in My love. Let Me love you! Let My love invigorate you so you may love like Me.

I am looking for lovers, those willing to abide in My love and willing to go love the world! I am so eager to partner with you!”

From Holy Spirit:

“I am so excited. Can you sense My excitement as I think on the waves of love, glory, and passion that will sweep over the earth?!

I am hovering. I am moving. Sons and daughters will prophesy. I will speak through the babes/youth all the way up to the 100 year olds. I am blowing a breath of refreshing. I am blowing the dust off those who have been sidelined.

I love unity and partnership. I love community and family. I love to see people working together to fulfill the Father’s will. Oh, how He loves the world. We are in unison in our heart for the world.

I am beyond eager to fill the empty and broken, to revitalize the weary, and comfort the mourning. I am speaking, singing, teaching, and on the edge of My seat for those who hunger and thirst for Me.

Invite Me into what you are doing. I am not asking to seek to control. I am asking you to invite Me because I desire to give you My power to complete the task.

I do not force Myself on you, nor push My agenda on you. When you ask, when you invite, I manifest My power and love!! I love to assist you. I love to abide in you. I love to connect with you!

Let’s partner together. I long to empower, encourage, and give you My strength. You are not alone in your journey. I am here. I am strong where you are weak. I long to connect spirit to spirit with you. Invite Me into your day. I am overjoyed to be with you.

I want to teach you more of who I am and show you the depths of our heart. I am refreshing you and longing to break you out of the old and into the new.

Old mindsets must be removed and I long to wash your mind with My word. Invite Me into your bible study. I long to deepen your understanding of My word and who I am. Do not lean onto your own understanding, seek My understanding. Study with Me.

I am excited to adventure with you and for the entire world to know who Jesus is and what the Father paid for regarding humanity. Let’s partner together!! I LOVE you.”

My Thoughts:

I truly believe God is calling us into something great, Himself. I highly encourage people to get to know God for themselves instead of simply relying on second hand information. I also encourage inviting God into every day, into Bible study, and to ask God to reveal Himself.

I have met so many people in my lifetime who claim to know God and represent God; they absolutely violate His heart. They repeat what they have been taught without revelation of who God is. We need Jesus, the real Jesus of Nazareth. We need to pursue God for ourselves and learn His voice. The early apostles had relationship. The New Testament was not even written yet and they knew Jesus. God is after relationship, not rituals and memorization of text. It is great to know the Bible. One can know the Bible and not know God. The Pharisees knew the Torah, they did not know God.

My hope is this post encourages someone to go deeper into intimacy with God. Don’t just take my word for it, invite God into your heart and life. Invite the Holy Spirit to teach and guide, even to weed out thoughts or ideas that have been taught that are not properly aligned with the heart of God.

Follow Jesus Not Culture

Happy Pursue God’s Kingdom! ❤️

I love the teachings and lifestyle of Jesus. I don’t always enjoy Christian culture. They don’t always match. Sometimes the focus in culture is not what Jesus focused on at all. Paul and the teachings of Paul are sometimes elevated above Jesus. Paul is the most misquoted and misunderstood author of the New Testament. Paul stated, “follow me as I follow Jesus”-not “follow me instead of Jesus.”

Things Jesus talked about and demonstrated the most: loving God & loving each other (including enemies), the Kingdom of heaven (seek first God’s kingdom), our heart conditions, helping people, discipleship (go make disciples), the nature of the Father, intimacy with the Father, eternity, how to know the Father, what it is like to be His family, and development of leaders who could duplicate what Jesus did.

Things I notice focused on in Christian culture: tithing, marriage, come to church more than be the church, men are the head/wives submit, supporting your local church/pastor, how to get God to bless you, only a few have opportunities to lead or use gifts, development of followers/spectators instead of leaders.

I highly prefer the focus of Jesus. His methods produced disciples who shifted Nations. They did not just fill buildings, they made an impact for generations.

When God is pursued first and most, the rest falls into place-we give because we love God, we support ministers because we love God, people are better spouses when they love God…our focus matters. Sometimes things whispered in the Bible are shouted in culture and they are the secondary thing. Sometimes culture and a misunderstanding of scripture is promoted above the teachings and lifestyle of Jesus…especially the teaching on submission.

The highest things are have no other gods besides God, love, and seek first God’s Kingdom.

May we grow to know Jesus and abide in Him! True Christianity is focused on knowing God and abiding in Him!

Love,

Erin Lamb
